Aftercare: make your perm last
- Wait 48 hours before shampooing, swimming or tying your hair tightly.
- Use a sulfate-free shampoo and a light curl cream or essence on damp ends.
- Dry roots first on a cool-warm setting, then shape the ends with your fingers.
- Book a trim or touch-up every 3–4 months to keep the shape fresh.
- Avoid colouring or bleaching for about 1–2 weeks after a perm unless your stylist plans both together.
